A supply counter, not a beauty aisle
Asian Beauty Nail Supply sits on Whitaker Avenue in northeast Philadelphia and sells the tools that professionals buy in quantity. This catalogue is the part of that counter that travels well.
What is actually on the shelves
Five groups, and no more than five: sponges and puffs, brush sets, vanity storage, a small number of beauty tools, and one cosmetic. That is the whole catalogue and there is no plan to pad it. A supply counter earns its reputation on the depth of a few lines rather than the breadth of many, and a shopper who wants twenty kinds of sponge is better served than one who wants two of everything.
The list is short for a second reason. Everything here is stocked in the shop as well as online, so the online range is limited by what physically sits on the shelf in Philadelphia. Nothing is drop-shipped from a warehouse we have never seen.
How a product gets on the list
The test is repeat purchase. When somebody comes back every three weeks for the same sponge, that sponge works. When a brush set is bought once and never again, we find out why, and usually it is the ferrule or the shedding. Retail packaging tells you nothing about either.
That is why the descriptions here talk about how a thing is built rather than how it makes you feel. A 44-piece brush set is a claim about count; whether the bristles survive washing is a different claim, and it is the one that matters after the first month.
What we do not claim
There are no star ratings on this site, no customer counts and no awards, because we have not collected any of those things in a way we could stand behind. If that information appears here later it will be because it is real.
We also do not claim to be a full-line beauty retailer. If you need something outside the five groups listed, the shop counter is the place to ask; the online catalogue is deliberately narrower than the shop.
